Abstract
Understanding the concept of Development from the perspective of an individual living in a family unit — The whole spectrum of family unit from an individual through a unit family family of sizes that are seen majorly in villages, towns and cities at national and international level.
From the perspective of an aspiring individual who lives in a small village and who is constantly building a dream and realizing it just the same. The dream begins with marrying a girl of youthfulness, good looks, healthy body, beautiful mind, pleasant voice and aspirations to live a long and happy life in a small town full of natural beauty and lovely people. Leading up to working smart, earning wealth and good name and lot of kin and friends that came along through a responsible and useful life of providing to many and most. Ending long long time in the future at peace into the infinity of existence as infinite.
Prevailing definition of Development
As part of the definition of development the author finds it useful to connect the definition with feelings that are best described in terms of stories. Here’s a story

And right on this day I have an email from a potential client regarding an end-to-end commercial software system delivery with AI enabled features for enhancing business capability. I will post the picture of the motorcycle after I clean it a bit. It’s strange but this motorcycle connects me with my existence for the past 10 years. It has been somewhere in my mind and at many places on the earth, from many parts of the North Americas. Definition of development from academic people
We will look systematically into the definition as available on the internet. Before we look at the various definitions from popular dictionaries, let’s take a look first from Wikipedia and specific to the suggest concept — “Economic Development”. This sounds like this is what Development means in more pragmatic terms.

That does sound more pragmatic that the first definition we see from Oxford Dictionary. The definition essentially says — “noun: development

In English (As seen by the author): The conditioning of human and culture for favoring and not resisting growth of worldly pleasures as well as liberation from the cycle of life (happiness) and death (lack of happiness), is called development.
Practical Use of this Knowledge
By realizing the means of happiness consistently across the spectrum from birth to death of the body by keeping the momentum of growth of happiness of the subtler body that travels through infinite number of gross and subtle bodies into the infinite feeling of birth-less-ness and death-less-ness as an aggregate of everything that ever existed, exits and will ever exist.
